Excel Nails

I made a mistake and it won't let me correct my rating. I am giving a 1 star because they dont have 0!!

This was the worst pedicure my husband and I have ever had in our lives. The man who did my pedicdid not seem to know what he was doing. He kept asking the lady who was doing my husband's pedicure and then doing it. They did not do it like any pedicure place I have bee...n at before. They did not put anything to remove the dead skin not even a file and I looked at my feet and I told him that it had the pieces of skin still the owner jumped in and said oh we cannot file your feet because you have thin skined feet. I have never heard anyone say this to me ever. She told the man to take the nail clipper and clip the piece I was showing her. I just looked at my husband in disbelief. Then he took one towel and put my legs together and wrapped both my calves together and the towel around my calves ignoring my feet altogether , the towel was not even hot. He did not do anything else with my feet. I was so disappointed and my husband loves pedicures and he said that the lady that did his pedicure was just as bad. We paid and left, when we got home my mom saw our feet and she got very angry because she said we should have not paid for such a bad pedicure. She said they look all white and dry, it seemed like my feet looked worse when I came out than when I went in. I told her I will never go there again but she insisted that we all go back because it was not fair to pay for a service and that we got such a bad job done. My mom is a fighter she has stage 4 cancer and I wasn't going to argue with mom so all 3 of us went to the nail salon and mom proceeded to ask for our money back and she showed the owner our feet and asked if she would be happy if they did that to her? She argued with mom for a bit and I just wanted to leave and the owner said I will not give a refund I will redo the pedicures. What she did was get a file and filed my feet and then asked is that good. I said you can't tell because its wet and she was so annoyed because we were there after she filled my feet my husband saw what she did with was nothing and he said he dosen't her touching his feet so we left. That was money thrown away I had to go get another pedicure because my feet still looked dry and white. This is a friendly salon with great prices, great techs, and a great atmosphere. I have enjoyed chatting with nice people of all races as we got manicures and pedicures. I highly recommend Excel Nails - been a customer for 10 years!
